A balanced perception
Class X and XII board exams are important, but so are other exams. I have a keen interest in art. I wish to make a ca reer in the field of de sign and want to study at a reputed design school in India. And hence, I need to focus not only on my board exams, but also other relevant design school entrance tests. So, while it is important to take your board exams seriously, it is also crucial to give impor tance to other tests you may appear for.
Treat all exams equally while keeping your career goals in mind. Lastly, one needs to work hard and be confident about themselves and not stress about these exams.
In this day and age of competition, a student's academic record goes a long way in building their future. A child's career path depends on their class X and XII scores. Hence, board exams are important and must be taken seriously. Having said that, most students and par ents often tend to compare them selves with others, which increases stress levels. Incul cating a habit of healthy com petition is a must. This will help students give their best without feeling pressurised and comparing themselves with their peers.
As students, we tend to take our regular exams lightly. But board exams are different. Your scores, especially class XII results, directly affect your career path and job scope. Thus, board exams should be taken seriously.
While most colleges offer the same or similar degrees, they vary in their reputation in the job market. Most or Most organisations prefer hiring graduates from well-known colleges through campus placements. Even in the long run, organisations lay emphasis on the institute the candidate pursued his/her degree from apart from the academic score.Hence, it is crucial to take your board examinations seriously.
A student's board exam score acts as a stepping stone to their career path. While the exam is important, in my opinion, a student must treat their board exams just like any other exam. Having seen my child appear for both -class X and XII boards -I believe that initially, it is the parents who stress more than the child. This stress seeps down to the child and creates panic situations, loss of confidence and a lack of interest. While board exams do play an important role in a student's career path, excessive obsession over them only causes more harm than good. And hence, parents as well as students, must make a conscious effort to treat them just as any other exam.
Admissions to junior and degree colleges are based on a student's class X and XII board exam score.Board exams not only prepare you for entry to various courses, but also help you gain knowledge on various subjects which in turn helps you make a right career and course choice. On the other hand, students and parents should also remember that though these two academic years are important milestones in one's career, performing poorly does not mean the end of the world.
